Midnight Muster
Having previously been described as ‘the greatest night on Earth’ and ‘the best thing since November Rain by Guns n’ Roses’, the Midnight Muster is a night like no other on the social calendar. Members from all four of Queensland’s rural health student clubs are bussed or flown in and converge on a racecourse in Beaudesert for a night that’s part B&S, part Woodstock and part Oscars.
Hundreds of like minded students, cheap drinks abound and live music make for a most memorable night and at the end of it all revellers rest their heads at the adjoining campsite. Best of all, you can feel good about your revelry ‘cause all profits go towards the Royal Flying Doctors Service. Get dressed up and come along, it’s a night not to be missed.

TROHPIQ trivia
Where would you find the Sea of Tranquillity? To which celestial body’s rhythm does the species Clunio marinus align itself? How would you translate the Spanish word ‘luna’ to English, should the need arise? If you answered ‘the moon’ to any of those, you should definitely make an appearance and even if not, rest assured the questions are many and varied.
So, get a team together and submit a table or, if you’ve a smaller group, we can do the mixing and matching for you. It’s a low-key and a fun night, a night where one can meet folks from other health disciplines and together outsmart, outfox and outcharm one’s brethren to take a share in the prizes on offer.

Cocktails in the TROHPIQs
The night of nights for TROHPIQers, Cocktails in the TROHPIQs aims to bring together all those involved with TROHPIQ over the year to thank them. From the SoM and RCS to the doctors and health professionals involved, the sponsors to our partner organisations. And, of course, not least the members of the club.
It’s a time for you to reflect on the (almost certainly) awesome year that was and to look to where the club is headed. It’s a time to catch up with friends, listen to some live music and enjoy some food and cocktails. In short, a great time is guaranteed for all.
