TROHPIQ has had a great start to the year with already 120 new 1st year members signing up to join! Some events have already been completed and the organistion and sign up for the Fraser Coast Trip is almost complete.
TROHPIQ management would like to announce the Notice of the Annual General Meeting where management committee positions will be elected and remaining event organisers selected. Nominations are now open.
Date: Tuesday 1st March, 2011
Venue: UQ Room S201 Hawken Engineering Bldg (50) UQ St Lucia Campus
Time: 6:00pm, food and beverages will be served at the close of the meeting
So, how do you nominate yourself or someone else?
Step 1. Q. Who is allowed to be nominated (i.e. who can hold management positions)? A. Any current TROHPIQ member
Step 2. Think about which position you wish to nominate for. Read position descriptions attached.
Step 3. Write up a brief background statement that introduces the nominee to TROHPIQ members and states the skills and expertise you (or they) would bring to the position.
Step 4. Read and fill out the attached nomination form (also available on the website shortly).
Step 5. Send the nomination form along with your brief background statement to the one of the options stated on the form.
No later than 5:00pm Wednesday 23rd February.
Step 6. Come along to the TROHPIQ Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 1st March and place your vote!!
For those members who do not wish to nominate for a position please remember that you still play an important part as we need your votes!
