TSD 2: students get messy with plaster

The Saturday just gone saw the running of the Ipswich Skills Day, the second on our calendar, and the much loved plastering station made a return!

Some old favourites also made a return with suturing, airways management, vitals and venepuncture all being taught again.  There were many people who made the day possible and we’d like to thank them all.  The folks from Sullivan Nicholades Pathology joined us again and were, as usual, a great addition to the day.

Finally and in particular, James Purnell, Laurie Zhong, Matt Wagner and Jasmin Tilling combined to organise the day and all reports point to a superb job being done.  Many thanks.

TSD 3 will be on in July – keep your eye out for it!  Plastering looks set to make a return as well as some newbies like cannulation and ECG interpretation.
