“The Nursing Portfolio have put together a facebook group and we need your nursing members! We want this group to provide nursing students a direct line of communication with Emily and Kim, and fellow nursing students around Australia.  Get involved with this facebook group!  If you know of a nursing conference coming up, let us know! If you want information about remote or rural placements, post a comment. We want the nursing portfolio of the NRHSN to be as interactive as possible – by the students for the students!

RAW 11 Registration is open!!!

This year sees RAW have a fresh shake up with new workshops, speakers and activities for everyone to enjoy! On top of this RAW boasts one of the best social programs one could imagine for a rural health event so make sure you don’t miss out.RAW is open to anyone that is a member of a rural health club in Australia and is run over 30 September to 3 October on a farm near Dunedoo NSW. Westpac RDAA Medical Student of the year

Do you have what it takes to be the Westpac RDAA Medical Student of the Year?
Applications are now open! The award includes up to $2,000 to support you in a rural health focused project (including a rural placement) and attendance to the
RDAA and ACRRM’s Rural Medicine Australia 2011 Conference, which runs from 28th –30th October 2011 in Alice Springs. Applications close 5pm Monday 1 September 2011
