Want to attend the largest Rural Medicine conference in Australia? TROHPIQ’s got you covered!

RMA 2013 will be held at the Cairns Convention Centre from 31 Oct to 2 Nov. In addition this year the inaugural World Summit on Rural Generalist Medicine will coincide with RMA 2013.

TROHPIQ will be sending at least 4 students to Cairns to attend RMA 2013 to enjoy the tremendous educational, social and overall career advancing experience that is the RMA Conference.

 Attendance at RMA 2013

Registration alone for RMA 2013 is $440. But thanks to the assistance of our sponsors and the Rural Clinical Schools the cost for students will only be $150 OR the cost of flights (whichever is less). TROHPIQ then covers the rest of your transport, conference registration and accommodation. Now that’s bang for your buck!

How to apply:

With TROHPIQ support / funding-

  • Complete the TROHPIQ application form here before Sunday 27 Sept at 5:00pm.
  • Successful applicants will be notified by 2 Oct and expected to complete the official registration form by the 5 Oct at 5:00pm.

Without TROHPIQ support / funding-

  • You are obviously more than welcome to attend the conference using your own funding or by organizing your own support (most rural/bonded scholarship have conference funding that is easy to apply for).
  • Please have a look at the RMA program, and fill out the online form.
