Go Rural Student Information and Skills Day, Brisbane – 12th April 2014

Unable to attend the upcoming Skills Day, do not fret!!!

Health Workforce Queensland will be holding a one day Student Skills and Information Day as part of the Go Rural campaign funded by the Department of Health. It is intended that this day provide you with information and skills that will enable you to choose rural health as your career path!

Come learn from seasoned skills such as basic life support, trauma scenarios, suturing and plastering.  Please find registration details as well as attached program attached for your perusal.

Presentations from TROHPIQ and other QLD rural health clubs and a young doctor currently working in a rural hospital will highlight not only the varied work opportunities but lifestyle as well.  Organizations central to your decision-making will also have information on hand for you to collect.
