2. Des Murray Scholarship, specifically for students from remote backgrounds to attend the National Rural Health Conference (Darwin, May 2015).
Deadline: February 23
Nominations are being sought from NRHA Council and Friends Advisory Committee members for the 2015 Des Murray Scholarship.
The Des Murray Scholarship was established by the Alliance to recognise Des Murray’s contribution to the rural and remote health community, and as a reminder of the man and his work. The Scholarship is awarded every second year to enable a young person from a more remote area to attend the National Rural Health Conference. In 2015 the Scholarship will cover the cost of registration, airfare and accommodation for the 13th National Rural Health Conference in Darwin, 24-27 May 2015.
For more details on the Des Murray Scholarship, view the guidelines attached below and if you meet the criteria, send an email to email@example.com so I can send you the nomination form!
