Applications are now open for the Rural Doctors Association of Australia (RDAA) Medical Student of the Year Award 2015, being offered by RDAA and supported by the National Rural Health Student Network (NRHSN) and Rural Health Workforce Australia (RHWA).
The RDAA Medical Student of the Year 2015 will receive $2,000 to support them in a rural health focused project, which could include a rural placement. Once the award winner has undertaken their project, they will be involved in RDAA, NRHSN and RHWA promotional activities as well as writing an article for the organisations’ publications.
The winner will be announced at RDAA’s and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine’s Rural Medicine Australia conference, www.ruralmedicineaustralia.com.au, 22-24 October 2015, Adelaide. The successful applicant will be required to attend this event. RDAA will fund your travel to/from the conference, accommodation at the conference, your conference registration, and your attendance at the conference awards dinner.
