Save the date: Rural Doctors Association of Queensland Conference 2016

RDAQ conference will be happening from 9th – 11th June, 2016 at The Events Centre, Caloundra

There are, once again, many opportunities for TROHPIQ members to be involved in, including:

  •  Orientation session
  •  Student networking function
  •  Present a 10 minute presentation at the Doctors in Training Stream at the conference– opening soon
  •  Apply for the RDAQ student prize
  • Plus heaps of great social activities

TAHRPS Competition

Calling all Allied Health! Have you completed (or are currently completing) a rural or remote placement in 2015? Share your experience with TROHPIQ and you could be eligible for up to $500 through Allied Health Rural Placement scholarships provided by SARRAH (Services for Australian Rural and Remote Allied Health).Simply write a reflection on your rural and remote placement (1000 word max, pictures encouraged), or create a video (max 90 seconds). Your entry must include the words TROHPIQ and SARRAH.

The prizes are: 1st = $500, 2nd = $350, 3rd = $150.
How to enter:

Send your entry along with the following details to NAHO@trohpiq.org:

– your name

– discipline

– year level

– location of rural placement

– TROHPIQ member status.
The winners will be published on the TROHPIQ website, and can be used by SARRAH for future rural experience advertising.

Entries close Dec 2nd 2015. Winners will be announced on Friday 11th December.
