Health Workforce Queensland provides one-of-a-kind rural immersion experiences for undergraduate medical, nursing, dentistry and allied health students through hosting events, connecting with Rural Health Clubs and providing conference bursaries. GROW Rural, Joint Rural Health Club Weekend and Go Rural are engaging events that give students an insight into life as a health professional working in rural Queensland.

As part of a Consortium with the other Rural Workforce Agencies, Health Workforce Queensland also administers the John Flynn Placement Program for Queensland’s medical students.
